Wow, can't believe I'm doing this!
2023 and I'm finally kicking off my own business.
So like many during 2020, with more at home time on my hands and more stitching being done, I found myself wondering whether others would be interested in buying patterns for the designs I'd come up with, or even the pieces of art work I'd been creating.
I kicked off 2021 with several months of enthusiasm creating examples and writing my patterns, but I won't lie, with challenges with confidence and how to get started, I backed away from the idea.
My husband has been ever supportive and has continued to encourage me for the last year to pick it back up again.
With the help of others with their own businesses in fabric or other crafts, I am starting to move forward. Slowly and timidly at first, but that doesn't matter.
I now have a Instagram account and a website to show and sell my work, I'm here writing a blog and I'm planning what I need to do next. Most importantly, my first applique pattern is up on my website for sale!
